ThermNight TNC225R comes with a highly sensitive 12um pixel detector and an advanced algorithm enhanced 256x192 resolution combined with NETD ≤ 25mK. This allows you to detect heat signatures at further distances and positive lD your target with digital NV before engaging.
The Picture-In-Picture (PIP) feature integrates thermal detection and night vision identification into a single image. enabling confident engagement of intended targets with the Multi-Spectral ThermNight TNC225R.
With a simple press of the mode the TNC225R allows for quick toggling between thermal and night vision, even when using Picture-In-Picture, making it a versatile solution for any task.
Equipped with the state-of-the-art SONY STARVIS 2 sensor, celebrated for its exceptional sensitivity in low-light conditions and remarkable image clarity, the ThermNight TNC225R delivers unmatched capabilities for detection and identification.
With a deliberate emphasis on compact design and lightweight construction, the ThermNight TNC225R is engineered to thrive in all environments, measuring just 7 inches long and weighing a mere 22.8oz.
the IP67 waterproof rating and a recoil rating up to .50 BMG ensures flawless operation in extreme conditions, making your hunting easy and reliable.
The ThermNight TNC225R's "one shot zeroing" function is available in both thermal imaging and day/night vision channel. With only one shot using the day/night vision, you can easily switch to the thermal and adjust the reticle to be zeroed to the same point of impact (POl) as your day/night vision, saving you time so you can focus on your hunt.
With a focus on enhancing detection and identification processes, the ThermNight TNC225R offers unparalleled convenience: toggle effortlessly between display modes (Day/Night Vision, Thermal, or a hybrid) via Picture-in-Picture (PIP) at the touch of a button. Accelerate target recognition capabilities with the advanced Multi-Spectral ThermNiaht TNC225R.
Equipped with a sophisticated built-in laser rangefinder, the device excels in accuracy, delivering precise distance measurements ranging from 5 to 1100 yards.
Once the distance is determined and seamlessly uploaded to the integrated DNT app,
the advanced ballistic calculator swiftly computes a ballistic solution which is then represented in either dial-in or holdover corrections, ensuring every shot hits its mark with unparalleled accuracy.
The preloaded bullet database also facilitates faster and easier ballistic profile configuration.

Was more than impressed with this unit when I recieved it. For the distance I need to shoot (under 200 yards), the resolution is more than adequate-I can see mice running around in the woods out to about 75 yards and it’s great that it isn’t a 1 trick pony like a dedicated thermal unit would be.
The newer standalone units and higher resolution TNC series weren’t available when I bought my TNC-225R, but arrived shortly after. It says a lot that I’m not bummed at the opportunity to get a higher resolution when they were released shortly after I got mine….. I would buy from DNT again and hope to in the future.
Everything looks great. Still trying to learn all the functions. Will update the firmware, then mount it on my hybrid AR. Then range time..thank you
I've only had it a few weeks but love it! Have it setup on my Rock River. Zeroed the day/night vision scope at 50/200yd zero with HOB at 4inches in ballistic calculator. LRF is spot with holds for the Hornady 55gr V-Max. Thermal side is pretty amazing for only 256 res. Best money I've spent in a long time! You won't be disappointed!
Great value for price when compared to other items along same use
I'm having a blast with the scope. It is a rather steep learning curve. At 67, I've been on conventional/sniper optics for 55+ years. The electronics are clearly the future of scopes. But, it's a little like jumping from a rotary dial phone to an IPhone 15 in one giant step. I've had it mounted up for about 10 days. I'm becoming decent user with 3 night kills on varmints that have been harassing my chickens for years. I will be getting another scope for my SHTF rifle. I had an "operator problem" and the support calmly taught me what I was doing wrong, without any trouble. I haven't had it out in the rain or abused it yet, so time will tell how it holds up to real life. I actually think a left handed user would handle the functions easier than a righty, so there's an incentive for southpaw shooters. I've ordered a monopod to free up my support hand (left) to be used for operating functions. I find it a little hard to reach over with my right hand while using left hand for support.
Overall, very pleased!!!
