Both models use uncooled VOx microbolometers with a 12um pixel pitch, ≤18mk@25°C sensitivity, and a 50Hz refresh rate for optimal performance in the field.

    So far I am very pleased with the optic. Instructions are easy to understand and setup is simple. Can’t say anything negative about my experience.

    Pre hunt review

    I have not hunted or even mounted it yet so this review is based on using it as a hand held or on a tripod while hanging out on the deck looking into the state forest behind the house and while walking in forest during the day and night. It is imperative to understand all the adjustments to get the best clarity from these units as well as having the scope as steady as possible. Any sort of hand shake even when you have it dialed in will affect clarity because of the digital screen refresh rate. When the scope is rock steady it is amazing for the price considering what other companies are offering in the same price range with less options.
