Awesome Scope so far absolutely love it

i don't know if this is a fair review as i do not have experience with any other night vision, however when i tested it in a rather dark area it was not really better than my natural night vision without illumination. with that said i have always been extremely sensitive to light and when people say that its a blackout i can often see with acceptable detail. With that said when i flipped on the IR light even on the lowest setting it was like it was daylight. overall I'm very happy with it but with my lack of experience i cant compare it to other digital or analog night vision.

Now this is all based on it being a digital scope. I still prefer a traditional glass scope for many or even most cases. However, for the price and the right application this scope really is very good. I am using it on a .177 air gun and using the ballistic silver I have been able to take ground squirrels and doves out to 80 yards. The data seems to track very well. The clarity is great at 5x and generally ok at higher magnification. It is leaps and bounds better than the other digital scopes I have tried. My biggest gripe would be the field of view, it is a bit narrow. If that was wider it would be 5 stars easily. Oh, battery life is wonderful. I got a few spares and while I have used them it runs all day easily. I am confident I am missing topics but I can say that I would buy again for the right use case.
