The Hydra HS325 is a really good budget Thermal Scope. Its ease of use and mounting options are superb. I had no idea for my use case the impact of the 2X magnification. With that said I should have purchased the 640 resolution unit. The price point for what I have is really hard to beat. Despite the magnification, Im keeping the HS325. I still recommend it for purchase.

DNT has cracked the code on “bang for buck” products. I really wanted the mid resolution Hydra that came with the LRF capability but didn’t have the funds and I was too antsy. That said, the Hydra I did order, could not be happier with. No buyers remorse. It has a clear picture, is user friendly, and one shot zero so I don’t waste ammo. What else could you ask for? Glad I could get my hand on a thermal finally and I’m glad it was DNT. Also, shipping was extremely fast. Purchase to doorstep was three days. I will be buying more products in the future. It has features Trijicon does not. View and clarity are great considering the resolution. Self NUC feature is really great. I was using a Trijicon and you had to close the lens to NUC somehow this one you don't. If your expectations are getting a top end optic for this money you may not be impressed but I feel I got more than my money's worth. Well done R&D and engineering teams 👏

Been on 2 hunts with the hydra so far. Taken a coyote and 2 fox. Great ID range can easily tell a deer from a coyote or fox at 300+ yards. Scope mounts up nice on a bolt rifle with included mount. Recoil activated recording also works flawlessly on a 10lb 22-250. 100% would recommend and buy again

First night hunting got a confirmed coyote kill after sighting out at 100 yds during the day!

Working great! See deer before they get out of the woods! Even used it to track a wounded deer, got close enough that I was following his steps w the thermal!!

Awesome product! I've had mine for 6 months now. Crystal clear love the function and menu. Very simple operation. Looking forward to my next purchase. It will be DNT.
