The HOUND series includes three models: H315R, H325R, and H635R. The first number indicates the sensor resolution, 384×288 pixels or 640×512 pixels, while the last two digits represent the objective lens size: 15 mm, 25 mm, and 35 mm, respectively.
In general, higher resolution delivers sharper image quality. However, thanks to DNT's exclusive AI-driven Image Super Resolution (ISR) algorithm, even the 384×288 sensor produces superior clarity compared to other thermal monoculars of the same resolution. Larger lens sizes gather more thermal radiation, providing better detection range and enhanced detail at longer distances.
