The hydra HS 650 R multifunction thermal is better than I expected. I own several high grade thermals and they’re very comparable. If not better than the thermals it cost more. I’m highly impressed with DNT and their products very high-quality optics as I own a couple of DNT products for affordable prices, I will recommend and continue to buy DNT products.

My dad has an ATN and my uncle has an AGM, neither are bad scopes but I love the DTN, I was a little shy about ordering online without seeing one in person or talking with anyone who already has one. I use it as a clip on in front of a 1x lpvo and I was blown away at the clarity. I use it in scope mode but clear the reticle so I can still use the range finder. I really like the fact that I’m using my hard scope for accuracy. I have not used the scope as a stand alone yet but other reviews and videos seem to have great things to say. I also use it as a handheld often. I have the hydra 650R and I absolutely love it, especially at the price point. Also, if you are watching any YouTube videos, they don’t show the true clarity. In person, it is much more crisp of an image.

Not only has the best prize in comparison to the others, but also is the best in my honest opinion. I have tried a few others and I shall not mention the names and respect, but the DNC company is putting out a great product at a low prices to get these scopes into their hands of people like me and you. It is amazingly small and lightweight yet it is very capable. The rangefinder really does work even better than they say. It gives me shooting solutions that are easy to build and they really work with repeatable accuracy. I have it setup for a 223, a 6 mm art, and a 308 AR. I can switch it between guns easily to the Picatinny rails because of a zero in profile feature provided in the software on board. It’s so easy to switch between one gunn, and the other I found that I use it frequently for a different purposes. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed. Ken / Rocky Mountains
