    I don't use the onboard IR and with using this delete cap it makes quick access to the front focus ring much easier. Definitely worth it if you are using external IR.

    Handy little part

    Since I run an external illuminator, I bought this part to prevent the internal illuminator from accidentally running my battery down. It can also prevent problems when using the day mode for deer hunting.
