    Way Better Than I Expected

    Way Better Than I Expected , because it is the entry line of the Hydra series thermal scopes , I thought it might be a compromise and being budget minded and thought that if unsatisfied I could always sell it and upgrade to a higher definition model , This HS225R is super clear and the detection range is fantastic , The range finder is accurate down to + or - a couple yards , I haven't tried the built-in ballistic calculator yet , but when I decide which rifle to mount it on I will use it extensively .
    I cant imagine what the more expensive higher resolution models of the hydra series must be like , this HS225R is all I need ! I'm sure many other users will feel the same as me .

    First Thermal

    I ordered this as a gift for my father and I helped him get it set up. As with anything new, it took a few minutes to get familiar with the various buttons and their functionality, but once I did, it was simple to navigate the menu and adjust settings. Everything worked well and the scope had impressive clarity! Seems to offer good value for the money! I was impressed enough that I ended up ordering a second DNT Hydra for myself!

    A very good optic: lightweight, compact, and withstands recoil! Battery rechargeability and a small Picatinny rail should be added.
