Game changer pesting rats. They seem to be less sensitive to the 940 vs the 850.

The 335 has been excellent.

we just got this unit 940nm IR Module IR940V-M24 for ZULUS HD V2, we bought this at the same time we bought the night vision, so far we’ve been using the night vision and currently like the 850 cause it’s a little brighter once we use the 940 we can update this review with a better insight on the difference between the 940 and the 850 the unit comes I with the 850.

The 850 is a little brighter from what we understand than the 950 some people are saying that 950 is a little softer and some animals are not bothered by the softer light that the 950 provides we are unable to verify this at this time.

So the 850 is a different wavelength than the 950 so animals may be affected differently due to the different wavelength of light generated.

We currently are giving it five stars because everything’s working and we currently have no problems with anything but if anything changes or we feel something is needed to be said between the 850 and 950 we will come back and change the review

I added a 940nm torch to my Zulus HD 3-12R and find it reduces the flare and dazzle when hunting near cover: like building corners and weeds/saplings. Recommended for close up airgun rodent control.

I own the Arken version and the DNT V2 ergonomically is easier to use in the dark. I like the built in memory instead of the card. Less to lose or go bad. Bigger battery is a plus.

Big difference for me,

Have only tried it out to make sure it works so that I didn’t have to return it, but it makes a great all around optic even more deadly.

Works as advertised. In my opinion it should have come with this ir emitter since I bought your flagship thermal scope.
